Qualification

Minimum: Passed Class VIII
Maximum: Passed HSSLC/Class 12 or equivalent
Not eligible if qualification higher than HSSLC on date of application
Employment Exchange Registration of Assam mandatory
Permanent Resident Certificate or Employment Exchange Registration as domicile proof

How (Selection Process)

Phase I: OMR-based Screening Test (100 marks, 2 hours)
Subjects:
• Arithmetic - 20 marks (Class VI-VIII)
• General Knowledge (Assam-specific) - 20 marks
• Reasoning - 20 marks
• Social Science - 20 marks
• Science - 10 marks
• Elementary English - 10 marks
Phase II: Interview (category-wise 1:5 ratio)

Age

Min: 18 years as on 01.01.2025
Max: 40 years as on 01.01.2025
Relaxations:
• SC/ST: +5 years (upto 45)
• OBC/MOBC/Tea Tribe & Adivasi: +3 years (upto 43)
• PwBD: +10 years irrespective of category

Processing Fee: Rs. 47.20 (CSC-SPV, mandatory; non-refundable)
